Original title, I know.

Based off this pic: [link] I saw it while I was looking for wing pictures and thought what a great project it would make.

I'm not entirely satisfied with it - up close it all looks rather scribbly-stripey, since this is the first time I've done watery reflections with any medium let alone pastel on canvas. (Which works great for dark colors, but it's horrible using light pastels on dark paint.) I did a rough outline - swan, green, brown, black - in paint, but pretty much everything is pastel there. Yeah. Okay.

Edit: Gawwww, the picture came out really dull. I tried to color-fix it in photoshop, but it still looks really... off. The actual canvas is I think bluer and less cloudy-looking.
